About Me

Hi, I'm Riley!
I'm a social content creator based in New York City.

I'm an extrovert and I carry that into my work. Busy offices, packed shoots, and group think sessions are where I thrive. I love getting to know people and telling their stories, whether thats through a still image, a goofy social media piece, a long-form video series, or just water cooler chat with my coworkers. I love vibrant colors and high contrast in my own style, but I'm adaptable to whatever aesthetic a story requires.

Throughout my career, I've had a variety of experiences working for sports teams, leagues, and influencers providing creative assets and guiding social media strategy for high-level brands. I love managing calendars and coordinating shoots as much as I love editing a hype video or shooting a TikTok.

If there's one thing that I want someone to remember about me, it's that I always give my all. Every role I've held has been a brand new experience and I take great pride in my adaptability to each one and skills crafted through hard work and true dedication.

In my free time, I'm usually walking around Central Park, trying a new restaurant, or watching whatever sport is on that season.

About my work experience:
Currently, I work as a freelance content creator in New York City. This includes a contract Social Media Coordinator and Photographer/Videographer with Roots Marketing Agency. In this role, I provide curated photo and video assets for the agency's clients and assist in managing several client accounts.

Coming out of college, I worked as a Social Content Specialist with LEARFIELD through Red Raider Sports Properties. In this position, I managed and created sponsored video content for Texas Tech Athletics' social channels. In this role, I also assisted in the production of multiple long-form video content series with LEARFIELD's Always On program.
During my junior and senior years of college, I worked as a Digital Media Student Assistant for Ohio State Athletics. In this role, I assisted my department in developing digital content and managing social media accounts. I acted as a game-action photographer and videographer on game days and an in-office content creator and social media assistant.

I was also an NHL Live Social Contributor for the 2023-2024 hockey season. In this role, I delivered photo and video content to the NHL and its teams to be used on social media during games.

In March 2023, I worked alongside the NCAA to provide
the organization with Instagram and Twitter content through the first and second rounds of the March Madness women's basketball tournament.

In Fall 2022, I worked as a Student Manager for Ohio State Men's Ice Hockey, where I launched and managed the team's TikTok account and assisted in the management and creation of content for other team social accounts.

My introduction to the sports industry was through working as a Student Manager for Women's Lacrosse. During the 2021-2022 season, I assisted this team in general administrative operations.
